VACCINATIONS & ANIMAL HEALTH
Health & Vaccination Requirements

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted for boarding. We have a duty of care to protect the health and wellbeing of all cats staying with us.
All cats will therefore be examined on arrival, and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health, pending advice from a veterinary surgeon.
An up-to-date vaccination certificate must be produced on arrival and will be retained by us for the duration of your cat’s stay.
All cats must be vaccinated against feline influenza (cat flu) and feline enteritis, with vaccinations administered at least 14 days prior to boarding.
Cats cannot be accepted without proof of vaccination.

Fleas & Parasite Control

All cats must be regularly treated for fleas and worms. Owners should advise us of the most recent treatment date and product used.
If fleas or evidence of flea infestation are discovered during your cat’s stay, treatment will be administered immediately to protect the welfare of all cats in our care.
A £50 flea treatment and deep-cleaning charge will apply in these circumstances to cover the cost of treatment and the additional sanitation required.

Medication

Apple Blossom Cattery is able to administer medication to manageable cats for a modest charge of £2 to £4 per cat per day depending on the type of medication and the frequency of administration.
All medication, prescription diets, and any associated medical equipment must be supplied by the owner. Please ensure that sufficient quantities are provided for the entire stay, including any unforeseen extension.
Any treatment deemed necessary for the comfort or welfare of your cat during boarding may be carried out at the management’s discretion and charged to the owner.
